Losing touch with the outside world is a very real danger for the hard of hearing, so it's vital they have the equipment they need to stay in contact with those most important to them.

How Loud Is This Amplified Telephone?

The CL100 has a receiver volume of up to 30dB, which is approximately five times louder than a normal telephone, making it ideal for those with mild to moderate hearing loss. What's more, this phone for the hard of hearing does not require a power supply to achieve the 30dB amplification for maximum flexibility of use. Simply plug the telephone into the phone socket (with the cables supplied) and insert the batteries.

Ringer Volume Up to 85dB

For added usability for those with partial deafness or hearing impairment, the ringer volume can also be increased up to 85dB. This will make it virtually impossible to miss a phone call.

Does It Include Tone Control?

This phone for the hard of hearing individuals also features a fully adjustable tone control, enabling the user to adjust the tone of the conversation. This is especially important for those with high and low frequency hearing loss as certain sounds can often be difficult to distinguish over the telephone.

Users with high frequency hearing loss will find it difficult to hear the letters "T" and "S" in conversation, for example. With tone control, these sounds can be boosted so they become clearer and easier to identify.

Can I Use It with My Hearing Aid?

For maximum usability, the CL100 features full hearing aid compatibility. Simply set your hearing aid to the 'T' position and raise the receiver to the ear with the hearing aid and you'll be able to easily hear the telephone.

How Easy To Use Is This Telephone?

The CL100 utilises big buttons with high-contrast design to ensure that every button is as clear and as easy to use as possible. This makes it a fantastic phone for the elderly as well as the hard of hearing, who may have sight or fine motor control issues. The phone can also be wall mounted, for a more economical use of living space.

Is This the New Version of the CL100?

Yes, this is the updated and improved version of the CL100, sometimes known as the CL100V2.

Is This Amplified Telephone Suitable for the Visually Impaired?

The CL100 phone for the hard of hearing also features a visual ringer indicator in the form of a large LED flashing light, helping you to see as well as hear the phone ringing.

Does It Include Quick Dial Buttons?

There is also a pop out phone number sheet beneath the telephone on the right hand side of the telephone. For faster access, three coloured emergency quick dial buttons at the top of the telephone in green, red and blue and nine quick dial memory buttons can be programmed for one-touch dialling - enabling you to call those numbers most important to you at the press of a button. The CL100 also features last number redial, ideal for those who tend to miss calls.

Does This Amplified Telephone Have Hands-Free Function?

No, unfortunately the Geemarc ClearSound CL100 does not include a hands-free function. If you're looking for an extra loud, easy-to-use telephone that enables hands-free calling, we would strongly recommend the Geemarc Amplipower 50 White Amplified Telephone.

Can I Connect This Phone to My Internet Modem?

Yes, if you subscribe to a digital phone line from your landline provider, this phone can be connected by plugging the telephone cord directly into your internet modem.

Does This Include an Answering Machine?

Delivery - Free UK Mainland Delivery

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and is normally dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday. For orders placed outside of this timeframe, they should be dispatched on the next working day.

The delivery expectation of order sent via Royal Mail is 1 to 3 working days.

I purchased this phone for my mum for her bday, she already had 2. 1 broke after a couple of yrs so I replaced it with this one. I have never had any problems with the previous ones.
The phone I've got NOW is faulty. I have sent it back , paid postage. Came back saying nothing wrong with it. It works for a few days then stops.
The keypad does not touch the electronic pad behind it all the time and then stops.
I have mentioned this to tech team and they said it's fine. I am very disappointed. I do not want a refund. I want a replacement phone, that's all. I have tried the phone at my house and i get the same result. The phone is now sat in the box in the cupboard. I would rate it a zero but I wanted to leave my review. Wont be buying anything from this company again. £50 wasted! Money I can't afford to spend

Phone is great it made my dad very happy as he can now hear his family on the phone and takes away some of the loneliness as he live a longway away. And the phone is easy to set up and use and seams well made

The item did not come next day even though I ordered before 2.00pm Thursday. I got a message to say it will be Monday. Stayed oin all day then got message to that said I was out and it would be delivered Tuesday. Stayed in again then late on got message to say it had been left in garage. The garage has just been rebuilt so just a shell. Driver had left it on pile of things that are out of the garage and did not even knock at the door. He put on the message that he had left it in our safe place though I had not specified a safe place. Very poor service.

I bought this for my father whose severely deaf and wears hearing aids that cover his inner ear.
This phone enabled him to take phone calls which he hadn't previously been able to do.

I recommend this phon if you , like me, have an elderly relative who is struggling with their hearing. Really clear, tone adjustable, and very loud in both right tone and crucially the handset. Very very good. Good value too.
