Rolyan Adjustable Outrigger Kit for MCP Flexion

The Rolyan Adjustable Outrigger Kit for MCP Flexion is a pre-arranged outrigger kit that is designed to aid in the fabrication of a dynamic splint that allows flexion of the MCP (metacarpophalangeal) joint (see diagram below). Containing all components required to splint one hand, the Rolyan Adjustable Outrigger Kit should be used on a static base moulded from thermoplastic splinting material (sold separately).

Allows Thumb Motion

The Adjustable Outrigger Kit provides ample space for four ringer rod adjusters, yet does not limit thumb motion. An optional thumb positioner can be applied to the vertical bar of the outrigger. Extender rods and rod adjusters are simple to apply and easy to adjust.

Contents of the Adjustable Outrigger Kit for MCP Flexion

The kit comes with two pre-bent outrigger wires, five each of rods, tip protectors, rod adjusters and 10cm tension-adjustable finger loops, a self-adhesive D-Ring strap for rubber band or graded spring attachment, plus complete fabrication instructions.
