Despite its relatively compact size, the Oxford Maxi 180 Mobile Hoist has a maximum lift height of almost 2 metres which makes it perfect for lifting patients on to beds with thick therapy mattresses. The compact frame of the Oxford Maxi 180 Mobile Hoist allows for it to be easily manoeuvered and stored which makes it invaluable for use at nursing homes where it may be necessary to move the hoist from room to room. The Oxford Maxi 180 Mobile Hoist comes with a range of special features for increased efficacy and convenience. The Oxford Maxi 180 Mobile Hoist is only available as an electric version.

  • A choice of interchangeable spreader bars available in Paediatric, Standard, or Large in order to cater for a wide range of patient shapes and sizes

  • Incredibly durable, high-grade Tente Castors that allow for excellent manoeuverability of a wide range of floor surfaces. The rear castors are also equipped with an easy-to-use foot brake for stability when the hoist is in use

  • An ergonomically-designed foot pedal that is positioned at an ideal position to decrease the risk of injury to the patient during use

  • A large and easy-to-use, ergonomically-designed push handle for increased manoeuverabilty

  • A manually-operated emergency descent function for increased patient safety in the event of an emergency

  • Comes complete with a standard size spreader as standard and has the option of an additional small or large spreader bar
