The Timesco Babinski Reflex Hammer with Rotating Head has been designed for use by doctors during neurological examinations. It is used to test the plantar reflex, with a detachable rotating head that turns at 90° for versatile patient neurological examinations.

How Does the Babinski Reflex Hammer Work?

The Babinski hammer, also referred to as the Rabiner hammer, is designed for testing the plantar reflex. The head of the hammer is drawn from the heel of the foot to the toes. The patient's natural response to the examination may be indicative of nerve damage or an underlying condition.

How Much Does the Head Rotate?

The head of the Babinski Reflex Hammer rotates at 90°. It is also detachable, making it easier to store the hammer when not in use.

Patella hammer is good but it wasn't the one that I ordered as the one I had ordered did not turn up (out of stock).
It wasn't until I phoned that I knew of this and had to re-order.
