Schuco DermLite DL3 Dermatoscope

The Schuco DermLite DL3 Dermatoscope has been developed to be the tool of choice for the world's leading dermatologists. Precision-engineered and crafted from solid aluminium, it is the first handheld DermLite to integrate a 25mm four-element lens, which offers greatly reduced optical distortion and a sharper image across the field of view. 

The Schuco DermLite DL3 Dermatoscope offers two different viewing modes: cross-polarised for non-fluid dermoscopy and non-polarised for fluid dermoscopy. In the cross-polarised mode 21 high-powered LEDs are activated to provide a bright and sharp image without the need for fluid. In the non-polarised mode 7 separate LEDs are activated for use in conjunction fluid. For optimum ease of use, one button does it all: A quick tap instantly toggles between polarisation modes, and a longer push turns the unit on or off.

The Schuco DermLite DL3 Dermatoscope features a fully retractable faceplate spacer and focusing mechanism. By twisting a large precision dial, you can extend its faceplate spacer and focus your image, the focal range is in excess of ±4mm. The innovative spacer comes with a glass faceplate with 10mm scale, and due to its fully enclosed design, it is easy to clean and keeps the critical optical components completely sealed. Now, contaminants as well as undesirable ambient lighting no longer affect your image.
