The kit is supplied with a helpful layout mat that explains recommended positions and procedures, and all test materials fit neatly into a hard protective plastic carry case for portability and convenience.

Who Can Use the Neuroquip Motor Status Test?

This test is ideal for physiotherapists and medical staff looking to ascertain the motor function of their patients after neurological injury. It is particularly useful for patients recovering from:

Please note this test is suitable for individuals 13 years of age or older. 

What Is the ARAT Test?

The ARAT test has been used throughout the world since the 1960s, to examine upper limb coordination dexterity and function after cortical damage. A modernised version of the Upper Extremity Function Test, it uses 19 different tests to evaluate motor function after neurological damage. It is categorised into four subscales (grasp, grip, pinch and gross movement) to provide a general evaluation of upper extremity performance.

To guide you along the process, the kit is supplied with a fold out textile equipment layout mat providing the recommended positions and sequences for each element of the test. By following the directions provided on the mat you can ensure a valid and reliable assessment with reproduceable results in accordance with established protocols.

This kit is supplied with a hard protective plastic carry case to neatly store all components of your tests. This not only keeps all your components in a single place, it also allows you to easily transport your kit between testing locations. 

Manufactured to British Standards 

The Neuroquip Motor Assessment Test is manufactured in the UK and meets all relevant British and European standards. All components are designed for easy disinfection with common antibacterial cleaning products, and are fully recyclable. 

Fully Recyclable Materials

To ensure sustainability and durability all components are now manufactured with plastics, acrylics and polyethylene, in favour of the previous wood and metal components. This not only ensures full recyclability but also prevents price changes in light of recent supply-chain issues.
