The Flashing Doorbell with Vibrating Pager for the Hard of Hearing is specially designed to ensure that anybody with hearing impairments never miss visitors at the door. It combines a flashing alert with a vibrating pager for versatile and reliable notification when somebody calls at the house.

What's Included?

To ensure you have everything need to use the doorbell set, the following items are included:

  • 1 x Doorbell
  • 1 x Vibrating Pager
  • 1 x Flashing Light

How Does the Doorbell Kit Work?

By combining a doorbell with a flashing light and a vibrating pager, a choice of alerts is provided to ensure that you can be notified when a visitor calls at your front door. The flashing light plugs into the mains and flashes when then the doorbell rings. The wireless pager can be carried around with you around the home; it will vibrate when somebody pushes the doorbell.

How Easy Is Installation for the Doorbell?

Because the entire system is wireless, there's no need to worry about messing with wires or cables. This helps you ensure that the setup is not only quick but also best for you – you can place the chime, the pager and the doorbell wherever you need them.

How Lightweight Is the Pager?

The included vibrating pager is incredibly light and discreet, weighing just 75g. It measures 90 x 55 x 18mm, making it perfect for keeping in your pocket as you walk about the house.

When the doorbell is pressed, the pager vibrates, immediately alerting you to someone at the door. The pager also features four volume levels for a sound alert as well as a vibration one.

Can I Walk Around with the Pager?

The pager has been designed with a compact size and a range of up to 250 metres. This makes it perfect for walking around your home or pottering in the garden at the back of the house without reducing the efficacy of the alert provided by the doorbell system.

How Does the Flashing Chime Work?

Alongside the pager, the doorbell also includes a flashing chime. It flashes when the doorbell is pressed, giving you a visual alert as well as a physical one.

Like the pager, it also features a sound alert with four volume levels and 52 melodies to choose from, ensuring that everyone in the home can be alerted to the doorbell. The flashing chime is mains powered to ensure round-the-clock alerts.

Will the Doorbell Also Make a Sound?

Yes! To ensure that all members of your household can be alerted when the doorbell rings, it also includes a choice of 52 melodies with four volume levels. This makes it ideal for the whole family.

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and is normally dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday. For orders placed outside of this timeframe, they should be dispatched on the next working day.

Flashing doorbell with pager - for dogs!

This is a definite thumbs-up.

I purchased this not for someone who is hard of hearing, the opposite in fact. I run a doggy daycare business and when someone comes to the door and rings the bell it sets all the dogs off barking. Now, with this very easy to fit and use product, when the doorbell goes it sets off the pager which I have set to 'silent' mode so it just vibrates - perfect! This was delivered very quickly and I feel that it is fabulous value for money.

Bought for husband who is hard of hearing and never hears the doorbell, he can hear this one!! Have plugged ‘flasher’ where he can see it and vibrator works very well. Success!!

Very handy for the deaf

The vibrater could be one powerful as it I'd not strong enough. You can't play it in you pocket or on a belt, it must be hand held. Otherwise a very good product. Also it coulld flash and sound a bit longer.

Works well inside and into the garden

We bought this so that we would hear the door for deliveries when out in the garden. By the time the signal has been through several walls in the full length of our Victorian terrace, it only works to maybe 10 metres into the garden, but that's good enough to leave it somewhere we can hear it. Indoor ringer is loud enough for person pressing the bell to hear it from the next room, which is good (so they know it's worked).
Firmware suggestion: the list of ringtones is long and amusing, but some way of going back to the previous one (e.g. a long or double press) would be good. Otherwise the only way of getting back to one's favourite, having found it, is to plough on through the complete cycle of ??50 jingles or however many it is. Not that one does that often!

Arrived quickly and easy to install. Works well though portable part doesn't work as far as I'd hoped. Thick walls probably the problem.
