Manual Locking Lever Brakes

This model of the Grand Glider Plus Walker is built with manual lever brakes that can be squeezed like a bicycle to slow down while walking and features a lock function that acts as a parking brake. 

If you would prefer an automatic brake, the Grand Glider Plus is also available with safety pressure-activated brakes at no extra cost, which can be ideal for those with limited strength.

Extra Wide Build Ideal For Larger Users 

The Grand Glider Plus 4-Wheel Walker has a width of 29 inches (74cm) and is the largest model that Uniscan make. Along with the wider frame comes a larger seat and more hip width than their standard walkers, ideal for people with larger frames.

Take a Rest Anytime on the Built-In Seat

For someone with limited mobility, it can be a bit daunting starting a walk without knowing when you will get to sit down. This is not a problem with a Uniscan walker as every model in the range has an in-built comfortable seat. If you are using the walker and want to sit down, simply turn around and step back into the seat. The seat also folds away for convenient storage.

Backrest for Even More Comfort and Security

As well as a seat, the Grand Glider Plus features a padded backrest for even greater comfort, making it more suitable for extended rests. It also makes the walker even more secure as it removes the risk of falling backwards out of the seat.
