Wrist/Thumb Wrap

When recovering from thumb injury or surgery, it's vital that proper support and immobilisation can be provided. The Wrist/Thumb Wrap is specifically shaped for the thumb and provides light support, compression and warmth.

Please note that the design of the product may differ from pictured. It will offer the same level of support, however.

Compression and Support

By providing light compression and support to the thumb, the wrap helps to support and aid recovery.

To ensure that the wearer can have the correct level of support, the wrap is made from premium elastic with a hook and loop closure. This helps to provide a proper fit and enable easy adjustment.

Indications of the Wrist/Thumb Wrap

The Wrist/Thumb Wrap is suitable for the following conditions and uses:

  • Post-trauma
  • Post-surgery
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Osteoarthritis

Sizing of the Wrist/Thumb Wrap

The Wrist/Thumb Wrap is supplied in a single universal size for the left and right hand that fits most individuals.

Delivery Information

Delivery - Free UK Mainland Delivery

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and is normally dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday. For orders placed outside of this timeframe, they should be dispatched on the next working day.

The delivery expectation of order sent via Royal Mail is 1 to 3 working days.

The Velcro which goes round the thumb needs to be an inch longer as it only just fits. The metal splint needed a slight adjustment for comfort. All said, it does what I want and that's to prevent pain from excessive use of the thumb.

Fits my right hand better than my left. The thumb hole is slightly off centre so it doesn't sit as comfortably over my left thumb. Generally pleased with result but that could be improved.
For other purchasers - 'Fits most' may be overly optimistic - I have a small wrist and the velcro still only overlaps by 50%.
