Suffering from back pain can be a huge inconvenience to everyday life. Able to affect everyone from the athlete to the expectant mother to the employee whose job requires lifting, back pain can hit at any time and slow you down considerably.

The Serola 60" Sacroiliac Belt for Back Pain is designed to treat lower back pain, sacroiliac pain and joint instability. Worn around the lower back, either under or on top of your clothes, the breathable belt supports your back, helping correct the biomechanics of your joints.

Ideal for use in rehabilitation, the Serola Belt can prevent acute back pain from becoming chronic.

What's Included?

  • 1 x 60" Serola Belt

How Does the Serola Sacroiliac Belt work?

By compressing and supporting the sacroiliac joints the Serola Sacroiliac Belt relieves stress and instability at these weight bearing structures. The Serola Sacroiliac Belt is not so tight that it is restrictive and provides the correct balance of resilience and resistance thereby re-establishing the joint's normal motion.

Since the Serola Sacroiliac Belt offers support to the base of the spine, strength is increased throughout the back, hips and legs, greatly reducing chances of injury.

Users of the Serola belt include:

  • Maternity units
  • Physiotherapy clinics
  • Amateur and professional sports teams: Inter Milan, Glasgow Rangers, Wigan RFU and Harlequins Rugby

Gave me my life back

After 8 weeks of sacro-iliac pain, visiting a chiropractor regularly for acupuncture and manipulation, dosed up on NSAIDs and paracetamol, I genuinely didn’t think the pain would ever get better.
After the first 24 hours wearing this belt (during the day), the pain finally started to ease.
One week on, I am almost pain free and wearing it for only about 10 hours a day.
My tip is to wear it over your Bridget Jones pants (or some cycling shorts) as it can rub after a while. But it’s easy to put on and comfortable to sit, stand and move with. You have to take it off when you visit the toilet, but otherwise you can wear it all day (and night if needed).
So pleased my chiropractor recommended this!

Snug round waist

As a overweight 77 year old lady the belt did not fit securely round my hips. It was long enough, but it kept slipping up when standing or down when seated. This was my problem, not a fault with the belt. However, as I have several worn vertebrae along my spine, I wear the belt round my waist. I have noted that this makes me feel snug and supported when standing and walking. So it has not gone to waste. (NO pun intended!) I am concerned how long the velcro will last.

Having suffered from lower back and SI joint problems, It was suggested by my GP to try this type of belt. It worked. This means that when either my lower back or SI joint plays up, by strapping myself in with this belt, I can go about my business as usual. Would defo recommend it.
