How Does the AcuPrime Point-Mate Work?

1. Contemporary studies have demonstrated that the subcutis (under tissue) underlying acupuncture points comprise of a rich supply of blood vessels and nerves. On the body's surface, the electric resistance of acupuncture points is lower than in its surrounding areas.
2. Whenever any organ of the body undergoes pathological changes its corresponding meridian and points changes, and specific pathological reaction points such as auriculo-acupuncture points and meridian points appear on the skin surface.
3. When the Point-Mate's head touches a low electric resistance point, the alert gives a loud signal. The pitch of the alert rises with the lowering of the electric resistance of the skin to help better locate the point's precise location.
4. After the body's meridian points and auriculo-acupuncture points are more accurately located, more efficient therapeutical results can be obtained while needling these points.
