Featuring a fully adjustable shoulder strap with a padded sleeve for comfort and attaching via two adjustable D-rings for a secure fit, this brace helps reduce pain and assists with the natural healing process.

• 1 x Arm sling 
• 1 x Shoulder strap with D-ring fastening
• 1 x Body strap with D-ring fastening (attaches round the waist)
• 1 x Sling closure strap (pinches the sling together at the inside of the elbow)

Why Is Immobilisation Important for Healing?

Immobilisation of the shoulder restricts potentially damaging movement, and with fractures this prevents bone edges from moving and damaging other muscles, blood vessels or nerves. With dislocations and subluxations the muscles and tendons themselves are often damaged. Immobilising the shoulder allows the muscle fibres and tendons to heal and strengthen, preventing further injuries during the healing process.

Washing The Lancaster Shoulder Brace

The Lancaster Paediatric Shoulder Sling can be machine washed up to 40°C or hand washed with mild soap. Air dry the Lancaster Shoulder Immobiliser Sling. Do not tumble dry or iron the Lancaster Shoulder Brace.
