The Detailed Miniature Model Skeleton Fred is a scaled down reproduction of a human skeleton. The Detailed Miniature Model Skeleton Fred is a fully poseable 1/2 life sized model. The Detailed Miniature Model Skeleton Fred is made from a durable synthetic material for excellent longevity and is mounted on a stand to allow you to place the model wherever you like.

The Detailed Miniature Model Skeleton Fred is available with a range of detachable and movable limbs with a realistic range-of-movement making it suitable for use as a medical teaching tool. A fully movable spine and markings showing the muscle origins and insertions are also provided with the Detailed Miniature Model Skeleton Fred.

Special Features of the Detailed Miniature Model Skeleton Fred

The arms and legs of the Detailed Miniature Model Skeleton Fred are fully movable and the shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle joints are all available with a realistic sliding motion for extra realism.

The skull of the Detailed Miniature Model Skeleton Fred can be dismantled to its three constituent parts: a base, lower jaw, and skullcap which fit together using a unique pin and magnet system which eliminates the need for hooks as used in other model skeletons which are easily damaged. The skullcap and base fit together in such a way that there are no gaps between the two pieces which increase the realism of the model.

The legs of the Detailed Miniature Model Skeleton Fred are detachable at both the knee and ankle joints to allow for the user to better understand joint physiology and to better demonstrate the details of the lower skeleton during medical demonstrations. 

A fully mobile skeletal column is also included with the Detailed Miniature Model Skeleton Fred. This spine is mounted on a robust yet incredibly flexible metal spiral hose for maximum durability and flexibility. The Detailed Miniature Model Skeleton Fred's flexible spine allows for normal postures, malpositions, and malpostures to be accurately demonstrated. The special intervertebral discs supplied allow for the spine to be rotated as well as flexed thus behaving like a real spine allowing for the realism needed for physiotherapy professionals. 

The Detailed Miniature Model Skeleton Fred comes complete with markings along the right-hand side indicating the origins of the muscles (shown in red) and the muscles insertion points (shown in blue); these markings have been developed along with a physiotherapy academy to comply with the needs of physiotherapists.

The Detailed Miniature Model Skeleton Fred can also be easily removed from its stand for ease of transport and to allow for greater manipulation of the skeleton.
