The LimbO Child Full Arm Plaster Cast and Dressing Protector is designed to fit over an arm or elbow cast, where the self-sealing design will prevent water from entering. This allows a child between the ages of 4 and 13 to wash, bathe, shower or swim in a pool without risk of damaging their cast.

Which Injuries Can I Use the LimbO Full Arm Cast Protector For?

The LimbO Full Arm Cast Protector can be used with most arm injuries. It is recommended that the cast covers the elbow or most of the arm. If your child has a brace that fits below the elbow, we recommend that you opt for the LimbO Child Half Arm Plaster Cast Protector.

Sizing of the LimbO Child Full Arm Plaster Cast and Dressing Protector

To decide which size your child requires you can use their age as a rough guide, or their specific measurements to get a more accurate result. To ensure that you do get the correct size, please follow the below points:

  1. Once you have matched your child's age in the first column, measure the length of your child's arm from the tip of the fingers to the point that matches the Limbo Length column.
  2. Once you have done this, measure the circumference of the arm and check that it lies in the "Limb Circumference" measurement range.
  3. To make sure that the LimbO Cast Protector will fit over the cast or dressing, make sure that the cast at its widest point matches the circumference in the third column.

Once you've fitted the protector, it will seal above the cast, preventing water from getting inside during showering and bathing. How Waterproof Is the LimbO Cast Protector?

The LimbO Cast Protector is designed using waterproof neoprene, meaning that as long it is sealed correctly it will not allow any water inside the cast. The protector is easy to use, so you shouldn't have too much trouble ensuring that no water is leaked.

How Comfortable Is the Waterproof Cast and Dressing Protector?

The Waterproof Cast Protector is designed using a comfortable PVC, nylon and neoprene blend that ensures comfort during use. The material doesn't feel irritable on the skin, in part thanks to the adhesive and latex-free design.

Can I Reuse the LimbO Plaster Cast and Dressing Protector?

Yes, the LimbO Cast Protector is suitable for repeated use. Please note, we recommend hanging the protector up after use so that it can dry.

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and is normally dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday. For orders placed outside of this timeframe, they should be dispatched on the next working day.

The delivery expectation of order sent via Royal Mail is 1 to 3 working days.

I ordered the LimbO on Thursday 28 June expecting delivery in a couple of days-the item was urgently needed in this hot weather! Payment was taken and when it had not arrived by late afternoon on Tuesday 3rd July I phoned to check the status and was told "we were going to phone you today as it is not in stock". This delay is unwarranted-customers should be advised on ordering when an item is not in stock-and payment should not be taken either!

This product is brilliant. My 10 year old has been able to have fun in the paddling pool. Even went under water with it on ... although kept trying to tell her not to! Laying in the bath was ok too. The only reason why not 5 stars is that it is starting to tear a little but that is where we keep stretching it over the cast as she has the A & E cast on for 3 weeks which was bulky.

I was very unhappy with my item, it was far too small for my girl’s arm, when I contacted customer services I was told I couldn’t change it as I open it. So I spend money for nothing.

My four year old daughter broke her arm at gymnastics and loves her bath so with a plaster cast this was going to be a nightmare. However this made her so happy. I ordered Monday afternoon and it arrived Tuesday morning. Can’t recommend product and company enough. Thank you

LimbO child arm protector

This was very good and made it possible for our 4yr old granddaughter to fully join in with her brothers at the beach and in the swimming pool during our holiday in the Algarve. Take care though when putting on for the first time as ours split a tiny bit on the seal, but did not compromise the sealing effect.
