Size | Ankle Circumference (cm) |

Large | 26 - 30cm |
How Do I Fit the Thuasne Malleo Dynastab Boa Ankle Brace?
To fit your Malleo BOA Ankle Brace, please view the images and instructions below:
- Pull the BOA dial away from the brace and turn anticlockwise until laces are loose
- Place your foot through the brace hole until your heel is correctly placed at the base of the support
- Click the BOA dial back in and turn clockwise until the brace is stable and in place
- Take the loose hanging twin straps and wrap them over the top and around the back of the brace
- Fasten the straps down at the front of the brace
- Finally, adjust the BOA fastening until the brace is comfortable and in place
Why Is Taking My Circumference Measurement So Important?
Measuring the circumference of your ankle takes the guess work out of purchasing an ankle brace. It takes two minutes and means you get support that adequately fits the unique width and size of your ankle shape.
What If My Measurements Fall On a Sizing Boundary?
If your measurements fall on a sizing boundary (for example if your ankle circumference measures 22cm), our product experts recommend you select the larger size brace for optimum comfort. This ensures your brace isn't too tight whilst minimising the chance of rubbing and chaffing.
Perfect Level of Compression and Support
The Dynastab Brace is designed to provide an adequate level of compression and support at the ankle. Supported by twin straps that loop around the back of the brace and unlike other braces, the Dynastab Support Brace uses a BOA Fastening System to allow the user to loosen and tighten their brace until the right level of support and compression has been found.
What Is the Benefit of a Compressive Brace?
In individuals with healthy muscles and joints, the tendons and ligaments underneath the skin are held together naturally. If you suffer with a condition that affects this, you will require extra support and compression to ensure your ankle does not give way.
The Maello Dynastab acts as a second layer of compression, keeping all your muscles, tendons and ligaments in place to prevent instability causing pain and irritation.
How Should a Correctly Fitted Malleo BOA Support Brace Feel?
If our sizing guidance has been followed correctly, you should receive a support that provides a gentle and comfortable degree of compression. If you suffer with ankle instability or rolling, you will find that the Malleo Dynastab flexes with you as you move, providing a strong and stable level of support whilst walking, running or playing sport.

If you're after a tighter fitting brace for sporting application, simply turn the dial clockwise until your brace fits comfortably.
To loosen the fit of the brace, pull the dial outward away from the brace and turn anti-clockwise, relieving the tension in the lace fastening.
What's the Benefit of Boa Lacing Technology?
Sports ankle braces need to be ready to go when you need them, and a perfect fit is a must. the Boa Lacing Technology of this brace allows you to perfectly fit your brace with a few turns of a dial – ensuring your brace fits snug to your ankle to provide a perfect fit in all footwear with some firm support.
How Does the Metallic Splint Boost Support?
While most ankle supports will immobilise your ankle with uncomfortable stays or confusing straps, the Dynastab Boa separates itself from the competition with a unique and lightweight metallic splint. Running along the key points of your ankle, this stay provides robust support exactly where you need it, ensuring that your sprain won't be reaggravated in the heat of a match or training session.
