How Does the Door Sensor Work?

Once connected to your WiFi and positioned beside the door or window you wish to monitor, the door sensor detects when the door or window is being opened or closed. Once this movement is detected, the sensor sends an alert directly to the Smart Life App on your smartphone.

Do I Need the Internet to Use the Sensor?

Yes, an internet connection is required for the Medpage door sensor to work. It connects wirelessly to your broadband, eliminating the need for any cumbersome and potentially dangerous cables, which could present a trip hazard.

Will the Smart Life App Work with My Phone?

A smartphone is required to use the Smart Life App. It can be downloaded onto either an iOS (Apple) or Android mobile phone.

Does the Sensor Keep a Log?

Yes the sensor records the time and date every time it is activated and the Smart Life App keeps a log for you to easily access. 

How Do I Put Up the Sensor-Alarm?

On the back of the alarm is a double-sided adhesive backing, which enables it to be easily mounted on and stuck to a door or window. DO NOT put the alarm outside, as it does not feature a waterproof design.
