Medi Manumed Active Wrist Support

The Medi Manumed Active Wrist Support is designed to reduce stress on the wrist whilst offering support with a detachable stabilising splint.The Medi Manumed Active Wrist Support features a circular strap and compressive knit which together with the volar hand splint provides optimum support and stress relief. The anatomically designed strap relieves pressure from the ulnar styloid process (small area of the wrist) to aid comfort. 

The Medi Manumed Active Wrist Support is made from a non-stretch, breathable and moisture transporting fabric which also features Clima Fresh technology which prevents odour and bacteria build up. The Medi Manumed also feutures Clima Comfort Technology to aid moisture transporting properties and comfort. The Medi Manumed Active Wrist Support also has adjustable velcro straps which makes it easy to fit and and comes with an easy slip on system.

• Irritations and inflammations in the wrist (e.g. arthritis, rheumatic, through overstrain, after operations, etc.)
• Wrist injuries, e.g. sprains
• Tendon inflammations
• Feelings of instability in the wrist

• The Medi Manumed Active Wrist Support can be washed at 30 degrees Celsius
• Do not bleach
• Do not tumble dry

• Do not iron

Contraindications for the Medi Manumed Active Wrist Support

There are no known side effects if the correctly sized product is fitted as recommended. However, if supports (or similar aids) are too tight, this may lead to local pressure effects or the constriction of blood vessels or nerves in individual cases. You should thus consult your doctor in the following circumstances and before applying the support:

• Diseases or injuries of the skin in the area of use, especially with inflammatory symptoms (excessive warming, swelling or reddening)
• Paralgesia and circulatory disorders of the legs or feet (e.g. in the case of diabetes)
• Lymph outflow disorders as well as unclear swellings of soft tissues outside the area of use
• Any combination with other products (e.g. arm stockings) must be discussed beforehand with the attending doctor
