The Proform Lumbar Back Support Belt has been designed to give great support to the lumbar and thoracic regions while maintaining a low profile, comfortably fitting under the majority of outfits.

How Does the Proform Back Support Belt Reduce Pain?

There are several different ways in which this back support works to alleviate discomfort. Firstly, it applies a light pressure to the torso, which helps to adjust posture and take weight off the spinal column. This additional spinal support also takes the pressure off any weakened or injured muscles.

By moderately limiting the range of movement it prevents any overextension of the back. In addition to this the gentle torso compression helps to reduce micro-motion at any loose or weakened areas of the spine.

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and is normally dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday. For orders placed outside of this timeframe, they should be dispatched on the next working day.

Excellent item does the job perfectly. My mistake ordered wrong size rang the service desk and found the best customer support team ever. Immediate response allowed me to change the item for the correct one.

I purchased this particular belt as it was closest to the design of the one I was given by the NHS many years ago (and now worn out).

It is very comfortable to wear and supports my old injury site (L4/L5), and the surrounding area, very well.

I would recommend this product which appears well made and good value for money.

This was a great experience. I called and spoke to someone who knew exactly what I was talking about. There was stock available and it arrived in 2 working days. Pretty cool considering I ordered it late afternoon. I have already started recommending them to my friends and colleagues.

My mother has worn a girdle for years for a weak back. As she has been unable to buy this any more bought this lumber support for her which is excellent. Highly recommend.

I've tried various back supports over the years for a chronic back problem, but invariably end up not using them for long because they're too restrictive and uncomfortable.

The Proform Lumbar Back Support Belt though is both effective at stabilising my spine, and being comfortable to wear. It provides support to the lumbar and sacral areas of the spine, and also to the lower portion of the thoracic spine. The flexible posterior stays add some welcome extra support, and the removable back comfort pad does add extra comfort.

The hook and loop fastening allows the support belt to be tightened to a comfortable level, but the feature that affects its comfort most is that the front of the support is cut away, making bending and sitting much more comfortable. The fact that it comes in a range of sizes, rather than a 'one size fits all' size means that it fits much better. All in all a great back support at a reasonable price.
