Product Details

Traditional Micro-Grip Metatarsal Domes

The Traditional Micro-Grip Metatarsal Domes are a surface addition that can be applied to most prefabricated or custom-made foot orthoses. Made of shock-absorbing EVA foam, these inserts provide soft, comfortable relief of pressure on a specific metatarsal head.

The Traditional Micro-Grip Metatarsal Domes are supplied in a pair, providing protection for both of your feet.

Disclaimer: Please note that the domes are shown alongside an insole for illustrative purposes only. Only the domes are provided.

Who Can Benefit From the Traditional Micro-Grip Metatarsal Domes?

The Traditional Micro-Grip Metatarsal Domes are recommended for specific metatarsal head pressure/load rate reduction. They are suitable for people that are suffering from metatarsalgia and ball of foot pain in general/

Features and Benefits of the Traditional Micro-Grip Metatarsal Domes

  • Traditional-shaped metatarsal domes
  • A30 shore EVA for comfort
  • MicroGrip fastening that prevents movement within the shoes
  • Compatible with most TalarMade insoles

Where Should I Apply the Metatarsal Supports?

These metatarsal supports should be placed at the beginning of your arch near the forefoot. The flatter edge should be positioned just behind your metatarsal heads at the ball of your foot, with the tapered edge pointing towards your heel. The diagram below shows a general guide that will vary based on your insoles and foot shape.

these work!

I read lots of reviews for dome pads and most were very disappointing.
These work for me! They attach by hooking into standard insoles in trainers by a system just like velcro. Easy to reposition as often as needed with no sticky patches left or loss of contact. They are firm enough to lift my metatarsal heads which controls my toe pain. Would recommend.

They definitely help but be careful about placement

This was difficult to do. The pads are such that a misplacement of mm can impact on your feet and the pain so I expected some form of instruction about placement but nothing was enclosed. I have many pairs of walking boots and shoes so need multiple pads as removing them repeatedly means they become less likely to stay in place which can be a problem

I have Morton’s Neuroma and have tried many insoles and none relieve the pain. My doctor suggested these and I haven’t anywhere near the pain I had. I have invested in a good pair of trainers and it’s almost non-existent now the pain and discomfort. Definitely recommend !!!!

Bought these to relieve the pain from Morton's neuroma. I'd tried several other products including very expensive insoles made by a podiatrist. I could never get them in exactly the right position to relieve the pain or get them to stay there. Because these domes have the microgrip they can be attached to the matching insoles and stay in place. Hooray! Pain has gone! Have literally change my life! Thanks
