How Do the Side Wedges Work?

To provide the patient with non-restrictive protection against falling out of bed, the draw sheet should be attached to the bed with the easy-to-use, quick-release buckles. Then, the side wedges should be attached to the sheet on the hook and loop strips on either side of the sheet. These stay firmly in place to ensure the patient stays safely in place and prevents 'roll out', without the entrapment issues other products possess.

Can I Use These Wedges with an Alternating Air Mattress?

No, we do not recommend the use of any positioning wedges with active air mattresses, as the motion of the mattress can cause the wedges and any connected straps to be displaced.
