How Do I Use the Beurer IH26 Nebuliser?

The Beurer IH26 Nebuliser is mains operated and designed for home use, which makes it easy to operate even without any prior experience or training. Below is a brief overview of the basic steps you need to take when using the nebuliser:

  1. Installing the atomiser insert: Open the atomiser by twisting the top anti-clockwise against the medication container. Place the atomiser insert into the medication container, ensuring that the cone for administering medication fits well on the cone for the air duct inside the atomiser.
  2. Filling the atomiser: Fill it with an isotonic saline solution or pour the medication directly into the medication container.
  3. Closing the atomiser: Close the atomiser by twisting the top clockwise against the medication container.
  4. Inserting the valve: Press the blue valve into the opening intended for this purpose on the upper side of the atomiser.
  5. Connecting accessories to the atomiser: Connect the atomiser to the desired accessory, such as mouthpiece, adult mask, children's mask, or nose piece.
  6. Treatment: When inhaling, sit upright and relaxed at a table and not in an armchair to avoid compressing the airways and, therefore, impairing the effective of the treatment. Breathe in the atomised medication deeply.
  7. Stopping inhalation: Switch off the nebuliser after treatment, and disconnect it from the mains.
