Designed for use by manufacturers when building a Functional Foot Orthosis (FFO), the XT Composite Ice Semi-Rigid Foot Orthotic Blank (2.0mm) features a tough yet lightweight carbon fibre construction with a semi-rigid 2.0mm thickness. It is ideal for combining with other materials to build a custom orthotic or surgical shoe for a patient who requires a moulded FFO to help with realignment or to reduce excessive joint movement.

The Semi-Rigid Foot Orthotic Blank is designed specifically for use by podiatrists and healthcare professionals when building a custom functional foot orthosis. The FFO blank can be combined with other materials to offer the patient a custom FFO or insole that provides them with the joint realignment and stability that they need.

What's the Benefit of a Carbon Fibre Blank?

The XT Foot Orthosis Blank is manufactured from carbon fibre and polypropylene for a strong yet lightweight orthotic. Unlike the heavy steel sole plates used in traditional surgical shoes, the carbon composite can be reheated and remoulded as required, and it will not creep or bottom out.
