How Loud Is This Amplified Telephone?
Both the cordless telephone and the additional handset feature adjustable receiving volume that goes up to 30dB. The ringtone on the handset goes up to 75dB, while the ringtone on the base goes up to 80dB.
Does the Phone Light Up When Receiving a Call?
When an incoming call is detected, the red LED light at the top of each handset will illuminate. This light brightly and steadily flashes, clearly signifying that a call is on the line.
How Easy to Set Up Is This Pack?
The process of setting up the cordless phone and then connecting the additional handset is very straightforward:
- First, you will need to set up the corded base by plugging the adaptor into a power socket and the telephone line cord into a telephone jack or a DSL filter.
- To install the cordless handset, insert the supplied batteries and charge the handset by placing it face forward in the base.
- You can install and charge the Extra Handset in the same manner. To connect it with the base, press MENU/OK, select REGISTRATION, press MENU/OK, select BASE(1-4), press MENU/OK and enter the four-digit PIN for the base PIN. At the same time on the base press and hold HANDSET LOCATOR to enter the registration mode.

Can I Connect This Phone to My Internet Modem?
Yes, if you subscribe to a digital phone line from your landline provider, this phone can be connected by plugging the telephone cord directly into your internet modem.
Can I Set A Distinct Ring for Each Caller?
Yes, you can set a different ring for each caller in your phonebook, allowing the user to easily identify the caller from the ring alone. Each AmpliDECT 295 handset features five standard rings and five polyphonic rings, while the base itself features five standard rings. This provides plenty of room for customisation to ensure important numbers can have a distinct ring.
How Many Additional Handsets Can I Connect?
The Geemarc AmpliDECT 295 Photo Amplified Cordless Telephone allows you to connect up to four additional handsets. The base is compatible with the Extra Handset (one of which is included with this purchase), as well as the Photo Additional Handset.

Does This Phone Feature Caller ID?
Yes, this phone can display Caller ID, providing it is supplied in your current package by your service provider. It will store the last 50 numbers, allowing you to scroll back through your last calls for reference.
How Do the Photo Buttons Work?
AmpliDECT 295 systems, both the base and handset versions, are equipped with photo speed dial buttons that allow you to contact your loved ones at the touch of a button. You can use this easy-to-use template to upload your own pictures, and then print them out in the right size for the photo phone buttons.
Please note that for base and handset combination sets, the memory buttons on the handset will retrieve the same set of direct memory speed dial entries stored in the base.
How Do I Apply the Photos?
The photo buttons can be flipped up, at which point you can easily insert the photos that you have cut to size. The diagram below shows the process of placing your photos into the photo buttons.

How Is the 295 Amplified Telephone Powered?
The base and the charging cradle for the cordless handset need to be connected to a mains via power adaptors included with this purchase. The handset and the extra handset each comes with a rechargeable battery pack. Both the cordless phone and the extra handset will last for two days on standby. The cordless phone allows for 10 hours of continuous talk time, while the extra handset allows for eight hours of talk time.
Does This Set Include an Answering Machine?
Yes, the telephone base includes an answering machine that records unanswered calls when it is on. The answering machine can store up to 59 messages within the maximum recording time of approximately 15 minutes. As well as recording incoming messages, you can record memos for other users of your phone.
