How Does The Infant Choking Manikin Work?

This infant manikin kit comes with one choking object on a string so that students can practise clearing a blocked airway with abdominal thrusts or back blows.

Once a choking object is lodged in the airway, students can decide where to place their hands using the anatomical landmarks for reference and how much pressure to complete the manoeuvre. If correct procedures are performed, the manikin will expel the object causing the obstruction.
