Each Rolyan Biodynamic Flexion/Extension Component includes everything needed to create a flexion/extension component on a single finger. The monofilament provided acts like a tendon, creating traction for MCP (metacarpophalangeal), PIP (proximal interphalangeal) and DIP (distal interphalangeal) composite joint flexion (see below).

The Biodynamic Flexion/Extension Component is supplied in a set for one finger. This contains finger wraps with monofilament, line guide, tension-adjustable connecting piece and two tension adjustment strips.
