Product Details

Flexyfoot Standard Soft-Grip Handle Closed-Cuff Crutches (Pair)

If you've suffered a lower limb injury, crutches can be an invaluable aid to your recovery, bearing your weight and allowing you to maintain mobility as your injuries heal. In this money saving offer, you get a pair of the Flexyfoot Standard Soft-Grip Handling Closed Cuff Crutches, rather than just a single crutch, which saves you money in case you need two crutches rather than one.

Standard crutch ferrules (the cap at the bottom of the crutch) are prone to transmitting the shock generated when they make contact with the floor, causing pain and discomfort in the upper limbs. While they also fail to provide proper grip in rough terrain, these crutches have been specifically designed to alleviate the pain and discomfort that is associated with extended periods of crutch use.

Key Information

  • Height: Adjustable from 75 to 105cm (29.5 to 41")
  • Shaft Colour: Matte Black
  • Shaft Material: Aluminium/Fibreglass
  • Ferrule Style: Flexyfoot
  • Weight: 600g per crutch
  • Maximum User Weight: 150kg (23.6 stone)

Shock Absorption

Traditional ferrules (the caps on the bottom of crutches) do not absorb the shock which is generated every time the crutches touches the ground, which then travels through the hand and arm, leading to fatigue and discomfort. The Flexyfoot ferrule's uniquely designed bellows absorb shock, which in turn can help relieve this pain.

This shock absorption is ideal for people that are suffering from elbow and shoulder pain as a result of using crutches or other walking aids. The Flexyfoot features two parts: a collar and a pleated bellows. The bellows act like a spring to absorb shock, meaning less is transferred to your body compared to traditional rubber ferrules.

Perfect for Rough Terrain

Because the bellows make the ferrule flexible, the pair of Flexyfoot Crutches will stay in contact with the ground even over rough terrain, helping to provide greater grip. This can help make you feel more comfortable and secure and allow you to be more active when wearing your crutches.

The Flexyfoot Pair of Crutches can make it much safer to walk on rough surfaces

Ergonomic Design

The Flexyfoot Standard Soft-Grip Handle Closed-Cuff Crutches are built for comfort. A soft grip handle is paired with clip height adjustment that allows them to easily be modified to an exact fit for the user. Their closed cuff is designed to keep the crutches connected to the arm, allowing for more freedom of the hands. What's more, the Flexyfoot Closed-Cuff Crutches even includes front and rear reflectors for maximum safety in darker environments.

How High Are the FlexyFoot Crutches?

The FlexyFoot Crutches can be adjusted from 75cm to 105cm. This height is from the bottom of the ferule to the top of the stick. This level of movement makes the crutches perfect many different users.

These crutches are so good. Completely silent, comfortable for the hands and arms and really shock absorbing. I have had quite a few crutches and sticks. These are the best.

Having been using NHS crutches, I can't be more delighted with these flexyfoot crutches. I hated the noise the old ones made, but no more, these are so quiet and unobtrusive. I find them comfortable to use and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you
