How to Claim Your VAT Exemption

VAT exemption can be claimed in two ways – either when placing your or order or claiming back the VAT on a purchase that you have already made.

Claiming VAT Exemption When Ordering

To remove the VAT from your order when placing your purchase, simply select the option for VAT relief on the Basket page (see below for an example of how this looks).

If you select this form on the basket, there will be extra information you will be required to provide on the checkout to confirm your elligibility.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are buying multiple products that are available with VAT relief, please ensure that all of these are selected when placing your order.

Claiming Your VAT After Placing Your Order

If you did not claim VAT relief when placing your order but would like to receive VAT relief, don't worry, this can be done after your order has been placed. To do this, simply fill in the form below.

Delivery - Free UK Mainland Delivery

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and is normally dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday. For orders placed outside of this timeframe, they should be dispatched on the next working day.

The delivery expectation of orders sent via Royal Mail is 1 to 3 working days.

Features of the Alarm Sensor Mat Kit

• Includes one bed sensor mat, wireless transmitter and pager receiver
• Can connect with up to 99 bed sensor mats (only one included) to monitor multiple patients at once
• Pager emits sound, vibration or combination of both to alert carer to patient leaving bed
• Also has a flashing LED light, and displays/speaks the transmitter number so you know exactly which patient has left bed
• Language button - can change the language of the spoken mat identification number, automatically set to English
• Adjustable volume
• Smart function - enables you to review the last 6 alarm calls
• Low battery warning indicated by flashing LED
• Pager has a belt clip so can be easily attached to person
• Can also be placed in pocket or on a surface
• Optional 15 minute alarm delay - allows patient to go to the toilet without triggering alarm, but will alert you if they have not returned to bed after 15 minutes
• Can alternatively set device to alert you immediately
• Reset button so you can reset the alarm once triggered
• Pad lost warning light to alert you if sensor mat is not located by the system
• Call button for panic alert or assistance alert
• The transmitter has a connection port for the connection jack of the sensor mat to plug into - wire protection fitting protects the wire jack if the cable is pulled or yanked
• Transmitter can be fixed to the wall or flat surface using the included two wall fixing housings
