Superlite Ankle Foot Orthosis

The Superlite Ankle Foot Orthosis provides exactly this, giving patients the support they need to more easily go about their day in a lightweight design.

Adjustable Design for Improved Fit

To ensure wearers receive comfortable support, the Superlite AFO footplate can easily be trimmed and heat moulded. What's more, the AFO also features a washable foam liner to provide comfort around the calf. An ankle cut out helps cut down on weight and enables feet to breathe more easily.

The incredibly lightweight deign of the AFO also makes it incredibly easy to wear throughout the day, helping to encourage patient compliance.

Solid, Rigid Construction

Alongside its adjustabilty, the AFO is also incredibly stable and supportive. Its injection moulded construction provides an exceptional level of rigidity to ensure feet are kept in the correct position, and the strap at the top of the orthosis keeps it in place for more secure use.

The AFO limits plantarflexion to 90° but allows the wearer some dorsiflexion. This works to prevent feet from dragging along the ground, helping to prevent discomfort, pain and accidents while helping wearers adjust their feet slightly for more comfortable movement.
