FootActive Kids 3/4 Length Insoles

The FootActive Kids 3/4 Length Insoles are built to help children with flat feet, other foot posture issues, and foot or knee pain as they grow. These 3/4-length insoles are easy to swap between shoes, allowing your child to remain active.

What Are the FootActive Kids 3/4 Length Insoles?

The FootActive Kids 3/4 Length Insoles have been designed by Australian Podiatrists to help with a broad range of children's feet maladies. Their sturdy heel cup and arch support help to correct overpronation, preventing issues before they emerge later in life.

At the same time, these insoles are ideal to ease discomfort and prevent injury in children with knee and foot conditions like Sever's disease and Osgood-Schlatter's.

Which Conditions Are the FootActive Kids 3/4 Length Insoles Appropriate For?

  • Flat feet
  • Fallen arches
  • Sever's disease
  • Osgood Schlatter disease

Which Size Is Right for My Child?

The following is a guide to FootActive insole sizes. To get the perfect fit, you can trim the end of your insole with scissors. Please consult the table below to find the right size for your child, then select the required option from the drop-down menu at the top of the page.

Size UK Shoe Size
SK Youth Size 11 - 13
K Adult Size 1 - 2.5

What Are the Features of These Kids Insoles?

  • A firm and durable EVA. base to survive whatever your child throws at it
  • The 3/4 length insole design fits many shoes and growing feet
  • Shock-absorbing Durapontex heel pad to reduce impact on your child's feet and legs
  • Strong arch support and metatarsal raise to provide mid-foot stability
  • Deep heel cup to maintain healthy foot and ankle posture during exercise
  • Velour top layer for the most comfortable fit

What Activities Are the Sports Insoles Designed for?

These insoles are designed to give your child the most freedom to be themselves. Their 3/4 length is easy to slip in and out of different kinds of shoes, and their shock-absorbing qualities allow children who experience pain in their feet, ankles, knees or legs to run and play more easily.

What Differentiates These Kids Insoles from Other Insoles?

It's in the name: they're for kids! But these insoles aren't just smaller counterparts to FootActive's adult range; they have been designed specifically to the needs of children. Their 3/4 length makes it easy to swap shoes, while also offering flexibiltiy to growing feet so you won't be buying a new insole every other week. By providing firm support to the metatarsals, arches and heels these insoles improve your child's foot posture during development to prevent the emergence of problems later in life.

What Is Pronation?

Pronation is the inward rolling of the ankle or foot. Some degree of pronation occurs in natural walking, but over pronation can have negative effects beyond the feet. It can contribute to knee pain and shin splints, as well as other lower leg problems. Supination is the opposite of pronation (outward rolling of the ankle or foot) and represents similar risks.

What Is Sever's Disease?

Sever's disease is an inflammation in the heel of growing children caused by repetitive stress and impact to the heel. Generally Sever's disease is expressed as pain in the heel and can largely effects very active children.

The symptoms of Sever's disease can relieved by physical therapy and by stretching, but one of the most effective treatments is ensuring your child has a good quality shock absorbing sole.

What Is Osgood-Schlatter Disease?

Osgood-Schlatter disease describes a growth-related knee pain in children. While it is generally resolves itself with time, overuse without attention can result in long-term consequences. Shoe insoles are one way to reduce the impact on knees affected by Osgood-Schlatter disease and to prevent escalation before it emerges.

Are These Insoles Made with a Pre-Posted Heel?

The rear foot posting can 't be adjusted for these insoles. If you're looking for insoles with a pre-posted heel to 5 degrees, our top recommendation would be the Kids Feet In Motion Insoles.

Which FootActive Insoles are Available?

There are a remarkable number of FootActive Insoles expertly developed for a range of specific uses and conditions.
