How Do You Wear the Brace?

1. Position your thumb on the thumb-locking area of the support.
2. Be sure the metal splints are on the lateral side of the thumb.
3. Secure the hook-and-loop strap beside the thumb area to your desired compression.
4. Pull the strap around the wrist and secure the hook-and-loop strap to desired compression.

How Does the Oppo Thumb and Wrist Support Work?

This Oppo support is designed to stabilise and support the thumb to support recovery, and manage a range of conditions. Included in its design are three metal thumb stays to help immobilise the thumb, and support the base of the thumb CMC and the MCP joints without inhibiting palm and finger movement.

Displaying an open palm design, with the support concentrating primarily on stabilising the wrist and CMC joint, there is increased flexibility in the hand and fingers allowing for a greater degree of movement than other supports. The absence of thermal neoprene material covering the palm also works to increase breathability and reduce palm perspiration for more comfortable all-day wear.

Removable Splints for Progressive Healing

Featuring three removable metal splints located along the thumb, this support allows you to remove the stabilisers as your healing progresses.
