The PROtect Coolmesh Mitt provides firm control of the hand for at-risk patients. With a breathable Coolmesh liner, this mitt provides a comfortable resting place for the hand and features a simple yet reliable hook and loop closure for rapid fitting and removal by clinicians.

Indications for Use

The Coolmesh Mitt is suitable for a variety of patients:

• Patients considered to be at risk of line pulling or disrupting lifesaving treatment via tube pulling
• Patients with a skin condition whose scratching exacerbates the condition
• Patients whose scratching could cause self harm or compromise the integrity of the wound site
• Psychiatric patients for whom limited movement would be beneficial for safety purposes
• Post hand surgery patients whose hands require cushioned protection

The PROtect Coolmesh Mitt is supplied as a single mitt or a twin pack in a universal size that should be suitable for most patients.
