It's made up of 27 individual air cells, with 23 of them being used to redistribute pressure across the body (alternating), and four of them providing a pillow section for patient comfort (static).

It additionally features a three-part, static air cell mat, that can be deflated in case of a cardiac arrest. To facilitate this, the Balmoral Plus includes a CPR valve, which can be opened quickly to deflate the air cells.

Designed with 27 Interchangeable Air Cells

This mattress is crafted with 27 interchangeable air cells, which can be removed for easy cleaning or repairs should that be required. This can help to reduce the time the mattress is out of action, ensuring patients receive the care needed with very few interruptions. While 23 of these cells are designed to help distribute pressure evenly across the mattress, the other four have a static design and act as a pillow for enhanced user comfort and stability.

Innovative CPR Valve and Three-Part Static Mat

Should an emergency (such as cardiac arrest) occur with a patient, medical professionals are able to respond quickly due to its three-part static air cell mat and CPR valve. This ensures that the mattress can be rapidly deflated and patients can be tended to with greater ease in critical situations.

Includes a Multi-Stretch Welded PU Cover

The Balmoral Plus Active Air Mattress is supplied with a multi-stretch PU cover, which has the following features:
