Does This Phone Require An External Power Cable?

The Alcatel TMAX 10 Big Button Phone does not need to be plugged into the mains to make or receive calls. Simply plug the phone through your standard telephone line and it will be ready to go. 

Does the Aclatel TMAX 10 Have an Answering Machine?

No, the TMAX 10 has no answering machine functionality and as a result cannot record voicemails. If you're looking for a similar phone with an answering machine we recommend the Alcatel TMAX 20.
