The Homecraft Black Contoured Grip Walking Stick has been designed to offer improved mobility assistance for individuals who may find grasping a conventional handle to be too painful or uncomfortable. It is lightweight yet sturdy for easy manoeuvrability, and can be purchased for either the left or the right hand.

Sturdy Support

The Contoured Grip Walking Stick offers reliable support to individuals. It is ideal for anybody who would benefit from support with walking, whether during shorter or longer walks, and can support weight of up to 136kg (21.25 stone). It is also suitable for those with smaller hands who may find the Homecraft Comfy Grip Walking Stick to be too large.

It can be utilised in a wide range of situations, whether during a stroll outside, moving around the home, or travelling long distances where weariness may become prominent. As it includes a ferrule on the bottom, it is protected against damage when in contact with the ground.

Pressure-Distributing Handle

As the handle of the walking stick has been ergonomically designed, it spreads pressure evenly across the palm. This, combined with the shape of the handle, makes the stick ideal for anybody who may have difficulty grasping securely onto more conventionally shaped handles.

It is also beneficial for those with arthritis or similar conditions affecting the hand and wrist, as the handle is positioned closer to the centre of the stick to reduce the stress on the wrist. This helps to reduce the pressure and related pain that can be caused by the occasional or frequent use of traditional walking sticks.

Comfortable Use

The walking stick is not also sturdy, but also comfortable. The height of the stick can be adjusted to ensure that correct posture can be maintained, with a height adjustment of between 29" and 38".

The handle is also available for either the right or the left hand, and the desired option can be selected from the drop-down menu at the top of the page. This will further improve the comfort of the handle for the user.

Delivery - Free UK Mainland Delivery

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and is normally dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday.
