Your Hottie hot water bottle can become an absolute essential during the winter, so much so that you overheat the insert and need a new one. The Hottie Thermal Replacement Insert can make your Hottie warmer as good as new, and will retain its heat for up to four hours.

What Can the Thermal Replacement Insert Do to Help Me?

The Hottie Insert can be heated in the microwave for 2 to 3 minutes and, heated correctly, will remain warm for up to four hours. It can then be inserted into a range of Hotties products, offering you long-lasting warmth and pain relief. When heated with care there is no reason the Hottie insert should need to be replaced, but if you do find its effectiveness has declined then it is easy to obtain a new one!

Who Is the Hottie Insert For?

The Hottie Insert is ideal for both the comfort of warmth and also pain relief for back pain, period pain, joint pain or arthritis. It can be used with any of the other Hottie products, listed in more detail below. The Hottie is CE registered as a Class 1 medical device for heat therapy

How Does the Hottie Work? 

Hotties are thermal heat packs containing plant based material and water, which warms up when microwaved. As there are no water currents within the heat pack, the transfer of energy from the centre of the pack to the outside takes longer, meaning it stays warmer for longer. 

What Temperature Should I Heat My Hottie To?

The temperature you should heat your Hottie to depends on whether it has been recently heated. As it is better to heat them from cold, many people have two Hotties and alternate their use.

Is the Hottie Replacement Insert Safe to Use?

Yes, the Hottie is much safer than similar products. As Hottie contains no gels or seeds it will not explode or burst violently if over heated. The Replacement Packs are designed for use with Hottie branded covers or hot water bottle covers and should not be used on their own as this can lead to injury and burns.

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and is normally dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday. For orders placed outside of this timeframe, they should be dispatched on the next working day.

Not suitable for cats as have clawed 2 inserts within a week and burst both packs. Waste of money for this purpose

This was a replacement for an old Insert, which seemed to be 'Blowing up' too much when heated so I knew it would be satisfactory.
I am very impressed by the easy ordering on line and the rapid delivery (2 days) by Royal Mail. Well done and many thanks for cosy bed-times to come.
