How Do I Use the IQOS Iluma Device?

With an advanced design that's quick and convenient, the IQOS Iluma Device is super easy to use with a few easy steps:

Charging:

1. Place the tobacco stick holder inside the pocket charger
2. Plug the power cable into the charging cable and the mains power with the power adapter
3. Press for four seconds to turn on
4. Lights on charger and holder indicate charge

Using the Device:

1. Take a tobacco stick from a TEREA packet and insert into holder
2. First vibration indicates pre-heating, second vibration indicates it's ready to use
3. Third vibration indicates when there is 30 seconds or 2 puffs left of tobacco stick

What Is Heated Tobacco?

Rather than burning straight through the tobacco, heated tobacco products use electricity to heat tobacco sticks until just before combustion. This produces a vapour that contains nicotine and many of the same chemicals traditionally found in tobacco smoke, but at a lower concentration. What this essentially means is that you get the same smoking sensation, but without the unpleasant smell caused by cigarette smoke.

Is Heated Tobacco Safer Than Smoking?

The CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) reports that the emissions created from heated tobacco products generally contain lower levels of harmful particles than regular cigarette smoke.
