Silipos Gel Tubing

The Silipos Gel Tubing is a supportive and protective sleeve that is fully lined with mineral oil gel. The Silipos Gel Tubing all round protection to fingers, toes or limbs (depending upon the size that you select).

The Silipos Gel Tubing is not as bulky as conventional foam tubing, enabling it to act as a versatile protective layer for small digits as well as larger limbs. The Silipos Gel Tubing is durable and will not bottom out as foam materials often can.

Which Styles Are Available?

The Silipos Gel Tubing is available in two fabric styles - Ribbed Knit Fabric or Mesh Fabric. The Mesh Fabric provides greater compression and is ideal for use on limbs, joints or fingers.

1. Ribbed Knit Fabric:

  • 2 Tubes of Narrow (15cm in length. Diameter of the tube is 2cm) (Code: 10865)
  • 2 Tubes of Wide (15cm in length. Diameter of the tube is 2.5cm) (Code: 10875)

2. Mesh Fabric

  • 3 Tubes of Narrow (15cm in length. Diameter of the tube is 2cm) (Code: 10855)
  • 1 Tube of Wide (25.4cm in length. Diameter of the tube is 7.6cm) (Code: 10845)

Silipos Gel Products

Silipos gels easily conform to the body ensuring a comfortable fit that cushions and protects. Silipos gel products are made with mineral oil gels that provide cushioning protection with the added benefit of skin moisturising and conditioning when the gel is applied directly to the skin.

Moisture Rich Mineral Oil

Silipos gels cushion and protect protect the body against impact, pressure and shear forces while simultaneously releasing moisture-rich mineral oil that gently hydrates, softens and conditions the skin without the use of additional creams or lotions.

Visco-elastic properties enable Silipos gels to move synergistically with the skin which prevents abrasion and discomfort. All Silipos gels are clear, non-toxic and hypoallergenic.

Will This Product Fit Over My Leg and Calf?

Yes, made with a stretchable material, the "Mesh Fabric / Wide" option will fit over most ankles, and can provide some coverage up the calf with its 25.4cm length. This is ideal for providing protection during activities like ice skating or skiing.

Is Silipos Gel Tubing Waterproof?

Whilst we suggest washing your gel tubing in warm soapy water, we do not recommend using it as a protective shield if you are submerging yourself in water.

Delivery - Free UK Mainland Delivery

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and is normally dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday. For orders placed outside of this timeframe, they should be dispatched on the next working day.

The delivery expectation of order sent via Royal Mail is 1 to 3 working days.

I have trapped nerve that affects one of my big toes. These are really effective in reducing the pressure on the toe from socks & shoes.

I have already made you aware that I read through the product information to ensure I ordered the correct size tubing, as I am aware the product cannot be returned.
The tubing is too small for my finger (middle). I thought perhaps the tubing would stretch but it was so tight my finger turned blue in colour restricting circulation.
I followed the advice of my occupational therapist to purchase the tubing.
I feel it has been a total waste of my hard earned money.

An excellent product at a good price. Delivered within a day or two. I am using the gel tubing to protect my ankle from rubbing by my ice skating boot and would be happy to recommend it to anyone finding their skating boots painful around the ankle.

As usual product was excellent and included with comprehensive leaflet about usage and maintenance (washing). Delivery slower than usual because of Royal Mail lack of service over Coronation Weekend and associated holidays, but that was expected.

whilst there are cheaper products out there, this is the one that really works. I was first give the silipos gel tubing by the hospital and it was a game changer, cannot do without it now and it has made my life easier and less painful

Great protection for ice skating

Very quick delivery. Product recommended to support ankles from lace bite and rubbing of ice skates. Have tried alternatives but this product is the best. Will definitely be reordering.
