What's Included?
How Does the Ultimate Performance Hinged Knee Brace Work?
The Ultimate Performance Hinged Knee Brace uses twin strap sets located above and below the patella and dual tri-axial hinges located on either side of the brace to centralise the joint. This helps prevent hyperextension by compressing the weak ligaments and muscles that surround the knee.
Which Size Is Right for Me?
To find the right fit for you, you must first measure the circumference of your kneecap using a fabric tape measure. To do this correctly, measure the circumference across the centre of the kneecap using the image below as a guide before consulting the sizing table below with your measurement.

Size | Knee Circumference |
Small | 30 - 35cm |
Medium | 35 - 40cm |
Large | 40 - 45cm |
Extra Large | 45 - 50cm |
XX-Large | 50 - 55cm |
XXX-Large | 55 - 60cm |
XXXX-Large | 60 - 65cm |
Our Top Sizing Tips
- Make sure to measure your knee as described, as this will help you to find the best level of fit.
- This brace is designed to feel tight and compressive. If you are looking for a slightly less-tight fit, we recommend selecting one size larger than your measurement.
- If you fall on a sizing boundary, e.g. your measurement is 45cm, we recommend choosing the larger of the two sizes.
How Compressive Is the Ultimate Performance Hinged Knee Brace?
The Ultimate Performance Knee Brace fits close to the leg, encouraging blood flow to the knee in order to promote rehabilitation. This close fit is what enhances support by stopping tired and worn out ligaments drifting further and further away from your kneecap.
How Do I Fit the Ultimate Performance Hinged Knee Brace?
In order to correctly fit your Ultimate Performance Hinged Knee Brace, please follow our step-by-step instructions below:
- Unfasten all straps and pull the brace up and over the knee
- Ensure the patella ring and buttress are correctly positioned, exposing the knee cap
- Fasten the lower set of straps by looping the Velcro fastening across the front and back of the brace
- Do the same with the straps located above the knee joint
- Apply pressure to the affected knee, ensuring the tri-axial hinges on either side are flexing with the knee joint correctly
Twin Strap Design Promotes a Tailored Fit
In order to achieve the correct level of compression, the Ultimate Performance Brace uses a twin-strap design to promote a customised fit both above and below the knee. If you find your brace fits too tightly, simply adjust the tightness of each strap until comfortable.

How Do Tri-Axial Hinges Work to Support the Knee?
Tri-axial hinges located on either side of the brace are 255mm in length, running from the top all the way to the bottom of the brace. They are included to track the movement of the knee when in motion, providing stability and ensuring that fatigued, loose ligaments and tendons do not prevent you maximising your performance.
