1. Unfasten all straps and pull the brace up and over the knee
2. Ensure the patella ring and buttress are correctly positioned, exposing the knee cap
3. Fasten the lower set of straps by looping the Velcro fastening across the front and back of the brace
4. Do the same with the straps located above the knee joint
5. Apply pressure to the affected knee, ensuring the tri-axial hinges on either side are flexing with the knee joint correctly
