This transfer assist unit makes all kinds of transfer functions easy and quick, and allows the user to take a more active role during transfers from one function to another, meaning there is minimal caregiver assistance required.

Who Can Use This Transfer Aid Unit?

This mobility aid unit is designed for those who have mobility challenges and provides a safe solution when transfers from one function to another are required. However, this unit must only be used by users who have enough leg and lower body strength to stand up and stay in a standing and sitting position. The user must also have enough arm strength to use the crossbar in this unit.

Promotes User Engagement

The Alerta MoveAssist Transfer Aid ALT-ST200 has been designed to keep the user actively engaged during a transfer process. Each unit features a crossbar that the user can grasp and pull themselves up into a standing position using their own strength.

The padded split seats swing out letting the user stand up and board the unit. All the caregiver then has to do is flip the padded seats to form a comfortable and secure seat for the user to sit on during the rest of the transfer, alternatively they also have the option to stand.

Easy and Comfortable Transfers

Thanks to its ergonomical design, the Alerta MoveAssist Transfer Aid ALT-ST200 allows for quick and easy transfers meaning that the user has a more comfortable transfer experience. The support of the seat cushions as well as the shin pads facilitate a stable and safe transfer.

Minimal Carer Assistance Required

This mobility transfer aid provides a secure sit-to-stand procedure not only for the user but also for the carer. All the carer needs to do is ensure that the casters have been locked, make sure that split seat pads have been positioned correctly throughout the procedure, unlock the casters, and finally pull the crossbar furthest from the patient to move the unit and the patient to its new desired location.
