The Oxford Advance Mobile Hoist has been especially designed to provide the ultimate in patient lifting performance in a small and easily-manoeuverable hoist. Due to the compact design of the Oxford Advance Mobile Hoist it is excellent for use in the home or small nursing institutions; it is also incredibly easy to store. The unique 'swan neck' leg design of the Oxford Advance Mobile Hoist allows for outstanding manoeuverabilty and safety.

The Oxford Advance Mobile Hoist was designed to adhere to the 5 Key Principles of Moving and Handling:

  2. Use a wide stable base
  3. Ensure a comfortable firm grasp
  4. Keep spine close to neutral
  5. Make sure movement is smooth

Special Features of the Oxford Advance Mobile Hoist

The Oxford Advance Mobile Hoist is unique in its folding capability, which requires absolutely no tools or special attachments, and allows for unrivalled ease of storage and transport. The Oxford Advance Mobile Hoist can also be separated into its constituent parts allowing for ease of transport. Once dismantled or folded it can fit into the boot of a reasonable sized car.

The Oxford Advance Mobile Hoist is ergonomically designed to be as safe and easy to use as possible in order to prevent injury to both the patient and the operator of the hoist. The Oxford Advance Mobile Hoist also comes with an over-sized handle which provides a large surface area that allows the hoist to be easily manoeuvered.

The Oxford Advance Mobile Hoist comes with a push footpad that reduces the force necessary to move the hoist from a stationary position.

The Oxford Advance Mobile Hoist comes with a 4-Point Positioning Cradle option that allows for a larger number of possible sling configuration for even greater versatility.
