Coolskin Heat Resistant GTX Mid Length Gauntlets

Used in both domestic and professional catering and kitchen environments, the Coolskin Heat Resistant GTX Mid Length Gauntlets have an exceptional heat protection of up to 250°C, which is due to the outer glove being made of Meta-Aramid, a strong synthetic fibre that is heat resistant.

Comfortable and flexible enough to be worn for long period of time, the Coolskin Heat Resistant GTX Mid Length Gauntlets will protect your hands for longer. They are ideal for use with ovens, AGA cookers, solid fuel stoves, microwaves and barbecues.

Designed to be long lasting, the Coolskin Heat Resistant GTX Mid Length Gauntlets are made from a duplex knitted structure. These gauntlets have a "glove within a glove" design, with the inner glove controlling the fit and comfort whilst the outer glove absorbs heat. 

The Coolskin Heat Resistant GTX Mid Length Gauntlets provide added wrist protection, perfect for handling hot objects.

In order to select the correct size of safety glove, simply measure the length of your middle finger from the top to the palm of your hands. Then compare your measurement with the chart below to ensure that you select the correct size of glove for your hand.

Where your measurement falls on the boundary of two sizes, we would recommend selecting the larger of the two sizes for a comfortable fit. However, if you would specifically like your gloves to be a closer fit, perhaps for work that requires fine movements, select the smaller of the two sizes.

Care Instructions for the Coolskin Heat Resistant GTX Mid Length Gauntlets

The Coolskin Heat Resistant GTX Mid Length Gauntlets can be machine washed at 40°C, the gloves are designed to last for years and washing them frequently will not deteriorate the gloves. It is recommended to keep the gloves as clean as possible, as to maintain maximum heat protection the gloves need to be free from grease and dirt.

For heavy grease it is recommended to have the gloves dry cleaned. The gloves can be tumble dried on a cool cycle. Always make sure the gloves are fully dry before use as damp gloves do not have the same heat resistance.

Better than oven mitts.

These gauntlets are great. They are comfortable and I find them much better than the traditional oven mitts: these allow for much more dexterity of your hands and I feel they are far safer, I always think I am going to drop things when I use mitts. They are well insulated as well.

As a new user of a Rayburn range I thought it would be prudent to protect my hands and wrists well. I ordered the Large Ladies size and the gauntlets are pretty big - but any smaller would probably make them hard to get on and off quickly.

Overall a good buy.

These gloves are an essential in any kitchen as they allow you to feel & grip whatever you are taking out of the oven, without any heat transference to your skin. Excellent product.
