How Do I Attach the Doorbell to the Wall?

The doorbell features mounting holes to allow it to be screwed onto a wall or surface. It also features rubber feet on the underside so that it can be placed on a flat surface with a reduced risk of it sliding off.

How Is the Doorbell Operated?

With a wireless design, the Frequency Precision Doorbell is battery operated (2 x AAA batteries). This means that there is no need to worry about installing any complex wires, and in the event of a power failure the doorbell will still operate.

Can I Use the Doorbell Outdoors?

Although the doorbell is not waterproof, it can still be installed in an exterior location as long as there is adequate protection from the rain. Keeping it as sheltered as possible will help to increase the longevity of the doorbell.

What Is the Range of the Doorbell?

The Wireless Doorbell offers a range of around 400 metres. This makes it ideal for a standard home environment or small workplace.

How Long Do the Batteries Last?

The Wireless Doorbell is operated by 2 x AAA batteries, and these are expected to last for around 4,000 transmissions. This is generally considered to be around two months of use.

How Is the Doorbell Prevented from Being Accidentally Turned Off?

You don't need to worry about the doorbell being accidentally turned off. It cannot be switched off without removing the battery inside or sliding the switch on the reverse side of the bell into the 'off' position.

Can I Clean the Doorbell?

The Wireless Doorbell can be cleaned with a damp cloth and a small amount of disinfectant, alcohol-based cleaning product, or diluted chlorine-based cleaning solution. The doorbell must not be submerged in water.
