Parnell Premier Plus Bed Grab Rail
For those with lower mobility levels, getting in and out of bed can be awkward or even dangerous without the proper support. The Parnell Premier Plus Bed Grab Rail provides the sturdy and stable support you need to enter and exit the bed with confidence, and is designed with a greater height to suit tall beds, heavier users and thick mattresses.
Why Should I Choose the Parnell Premier Plus Grab Rail?
The Parnell Grab Rail separates itself from similar products with its attention to detail and user safety:
- Strength and Stability: Anchoring firmly between the bed frame and floor, stability and support are ensured
- Easy Setup: Adjusting to almost any bed, it can be attached and secured in three easy steps
- Simplicity: No straps or extra parts, it stays out of the way to fit into any bedroom
- Rigorous Testing: Trusted by the NHS and tested by Newcastle University to British Standard EN 1970:2000
How Does This Differ from the Premier Grab Rail?
The Premier Plus Bed Grab Rail is a slightly taller and sturdier version of the Parnell Premier Bed Grab Rail. Compared to the previous version, handrail height is increased to 92cm, maximum user weight is increased to 160kg, and maximum underbed clearance is increased to 37cm. This is ideal for taller beds, as well as thicker mattresses and heavier users.
What Makes the Parnell Grab Rail So Safe?
Unlike other grab rails that depend on the frame of the bed to provide stability, the Parnell Premier Plus Grab Rail ensures security by firmly anchoring between the bed rail and the floor. This provides a much sturdier and more stable hold than other grab rails, providing peace of mind that the rail will provide the support you need.
The Parnell Bed Rail secures firmly between the floor and bed frame
Will This Grab Rail Fit My Bed?
Designed for maximum versatility and adjustability, the Parnell Bed Rail can fit securely on conventional domestic beds. This includes:
- Metal frame beds
- Wooden frame beds
- Double and single beds
Please Note: This grab rail is not suitable for beds that can adjust in height, but suitable for static profiling beds only.
How Sturdy is the Premier Plus Bed Rail?
Rigorously tested to EN 1970:2000, this rail has been found to show minimal flexion under intense stress, and each component has been repeatedly tested for strength and durability. The reinforced design allows the Parnell Bed Rail to provide equal strength in all directions, meaning even abnormal styles of getting in and out of bed will be well supported.
Will This Rail Affect Comfort?
No, unlike other grab rails, Parnell's range of bed rails secure purely on the bed's frame, and don't fit under the mattress. This allows you to enjoy the same level of comfort from your mattress with the added benefit of safety and stability and you enter and exit your bed.
The rail doesn't protrude under the mattress, ensuring comfort isn't disturbed (this image shows the Parnell Premier Rail)
How Long Will the Parnell Rail Last?
This grab rail is designed to provide value for money and is built to last. Certified by both British and European standards, all Parnell Grab Rails are designed for years of use with no maintenance, no spare parts, no tools and no fuss.
How Do I Install My Parnell Grab Rail?
Installation couldn't be simpler. Just follow these three easy steps:
Step One
Place the vertical top section into the horizontal floor frame
Step Two
Position under the bed at a position to suit the user
Step Three
With the two hooks under the bed frame, turn the black hand wheel clockwise until snug
