Features of the Pressure Relief Softrest Foam Overlay Mattress

The mattress is designed using a castellated foam top section to help distribute the weight and pressure of the user. With the weight evenly spread, it reduces the risk of pressure points developing. This is because there is not a single part of the body taking the weight.

The mattress is a two-way head to foot turning one, meaning it can be rotated on a regular basis to ensure the wear across the mattress is even. This prevents the effectiveness of the mattress being compromised by regular use.

A two-way stretch vapour permeable polyurethane (PU) coated fabric acts as a cover to the mattress. This keeps the mattress hygienic and suitable for use at all times.

The mattress is designed for patients who are at a low to medium risk from pressure sores.
