The Gel Body Discs can easily be trimmed to a customised size with scissors to ensure a perfect fit.

How Do Silipos Friction Gel Pads Work?

Designed to be worn underneath problematic braces, splints, casts and supports, Silipos Gel Body Discs should be placed on the skin in areas that are itching, scratching or coming into contact with material. This quite fix solution helps reduce pressure and lets you wear a recovery device without itching and scratching at the skin underneath.

Silipos Gel Friction Reduction Discs are available in two different sizes, both of which can be seen below:

How Thick Are Silipos Friction Discs?

Silipos Friction Discs are incredibly thin, meaning they'll seamlessly fit between gaps in any splint, cast, brace or support. Their exact measurement is approximately 1/8 of an inch (which is equivalent to approximately 3mm).

How Do I Apply a Silipos Gel Friction Disc?

To correctly apply your Gel Disc, first wash the affected. Once you've done this, take the self-adhesive side and place it against the skin, holding the pad down for around ten seconds to ensure proper adhesion.

My advice to future purchasers make sure that the disc will cover the presure area with a good margin for movement when in use.

I actually bought these to reduce the pressure on my hands as I am on crutches for three months and the pressure on the hands was causing bruising. I've slipped them into gloves and the pressure is substantially reduced, meaning I can get about much more easily. Great range of products.
