Timesco Wooden Pinard Foetal Stethoscope

The Timesco Wooden Pinard Foetal Stethoscope is a pinard horn designed for listening to the heart sounds of a foetus. The hollow device measures approximately 18cm in length, and offers a traditional method of listening to the baby's heart.

Who Can Use the Pinard Foetal Stethoscope?

The Pinard Foetal Stethoscope is an ideal tool for use by midwives and other medical professionals. As it features a simple one-piece design, it is also suitable for home use by parents interested in listening to the sound of their baby's heart in between medical appointments.

How Does the Pinard Stethoscope Work?

The Pinard features a circular opening at one end, with a flatter round base at the other end. The opening is gently placed against the pregnant woman's abdomen, and the ear of the listener is then placed against the flatter end. As the opened end must be placed near the baby's heart for the sound to be amplified through the device, the Pinard also helps to determine the position of the baby.

Delivery - Free UK Mainland Delivery

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and is normally dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday. For orders placed outside of this timeframe, they should be dispatched on the next working day.

The delivery expectation of order sent via Royal Mail is 1 to 3 working days.
