Who Can Use the Achilles Wedge?

The Procare Wedge is designed for use in conjunction with a walker boot when increased plantarflexion is desired. How High Is the Wedge?

The Procare Achilles Wedge is made of four sections measuring approximately 17mm in height, which, together with the cushioning top layer, gives it an overall height of 80mm. The four sections of the wedge can be removed to adjust the overall height to better suit your patient.

Which Walker Boots Is the Procare Wedge Suitable For?

The Procare Achilles Wedge can be used with most adult closed-heel walker boots. It has a width of approximately 100mm and a length of 250mm.

Can the Wedge Be Cleaned?

The wedge can be hand washed using a mild detergent in cold water; do not bleach. It is important to air dry completely before reapplying the wedge.
