For individuals in a wheelchair, scooter, or other wheeled mobility aid, accessing a low step or entering a doorway that is slightly raised can prove difficult if not impossible. With the Doorline-Variwedge Threshold Wheelchair Ramp, access is much easier by providing a slightly angled and gripped surface for ascending and descending a step, ridge, or doorway. It also has the added bonus of being height adjustable with the included spanner, ensuring it can fit with virtually any doorway or step.

Adjustable Height

The main feature that sets the Doorline-Variwedge Wheelchair Ramp apart from the others is the ability to adjust the height. This patent-pending registered design can be adjusted to ensure a more comfortable and safer fit against a door or step for the most practical use.

The height adjustability is great for individual use, and it is also ideal for use in care homes and similar care environments. This means that it can be moved between residential rooms as required or affixed in a communal space so that residents with mobility aids can access all rooms in the home.

Ease of Use

The Doorline-Variwedge Threshold Wheelchair Ramp has been designed to enable quick and easy use as and when it is required. It can be fixed into place for maximum stability, and can be easily removed and readjusted as required. This will allow it to be moved to a different room in the house, or taken with you to a new home.

Safer Design

The Variwedge ramp features a rubber strip. This grips onto the floor and protects the surface. It will also improve safety by preventing the ramp from slipping or sliding around.
