Handrail and Fix-Down Feet for Welcome Giant Half Steps

The Welcome Giant Half Step is an ideal solution for reducing the depth of a single step between two levels or when entering a door by providing a second step midway. The step is designed to minimise the strain of mounting single steps for anybody with a rollator or walking frame, and by installing a handrail and fix-down feet the safety and security of the step can be further enhanced.

Benefit of a Handrail

Adding a handrail to your Giant Half Step will increase the safety of the step. It is particularly useful if you find that you are unsteady on your feet, allowing you to let go of your wheeled rollator or walking frame to look for your keys, while relying on the handrail for support.

The handrail has a height of 90cm (35.4 inches). The following widths are available:

60cm (24 inches)
75cm (29.5 inches)
90cm (35.4 inches)

Fix-Down Feet

Each handrail comes with a pair of adjustable fix-down feet. They are self-levelling for optimal benefit, providing you with peace of mind that every measure for maximum security has been taken with your Giant Half Step.
