Cutimed Alginate Wound Dressing

When a wound is exuding an especially high amount of fluid, standard dressings may be unsuitable or may need to be changed too often to be practical. The Cutimed Alginate Wound Dressing is an alginate wound dressing designed for shallow or deep wounds with moderate to high levels of wound fluid (exudate). The dressing helps to turn this fluid into gel to ensure you maintain a moist wound environment, helping the healing process.

How It Works

By exchanging calcium ions from the dressing with the sodium ions in the wound exudate, the Cutimed Alginate Wound Dressing transforms into a moistening gel. This ensures the wound environment remains moist, helping to improve the healing process.

Delivery - Free UK Mainland Delivery

Delivery is free of charge on all items at Health and Care when delivered to a mainland UK address. Your order is usually dispatched by Royal Mail or better and is normally dispatched the same day when ordered before 2.00pm, Monday to Friday. For orders placed outside of this timeframe, they should be dispatched on the next working day.

The delivery expectation of order sent via Royal Mail is 1 to 3 working days.

Bought this for dad to use on a neck wound on his stallion and it has really helped the wound heal. Easy to apply, draws the puss out well. Very happy... hoping to find a cream.
